How to do a Quick Search for entries.

To do a quick search of the database, firstly click on the 'Select way of categorizing material...' box (figure 1)

Then select one of three search options (figure 2)

Descriptors - this lets you search for entries by their methodology. 

Grouping Of Entries - this lets you search for entries that deal with a specific topic.

Keywords -  this lets you search for entries that have been assigned specific keywords.

A box will then appear asking you to select the specific descriptor, grouping or keyword. Figure 3 shows the outcome if you had selected to search by descriptors. Click on the box and select the specific descriptor you want to search on.

Your specific search term will then appear in the 'Text to Search for' box. Figure 4 illustrates what would appear if you selected 'abstracts' as the specific descriptor.

Then click on the “Start Search” button (Figure 5).
